Panda – the program module for licensed files protection

You probably already got acquainted with our Justice Panda and hopefully understood the concept of our service, which is: everyone gets what they deserve no matter who they are. To deal with illegal sharing of PFD files we came up with a special program module "Panda". This module helps to find automatically where PFD files are uploaded/downloaded illegally and who owned them before it started.

All files you download from your account have the five-tier labeling system with your personal details being used, and those labels do not disappear no matter how much you edit the picture when creating a tag. All the formats we are using are protected that way, and even after the file has been converted to PSP format, some of the labels are still there.

Daily search for files like that and their automatic checking will help us find with 100% certainty anyone using licensed images form PicsForDesign illegally.

Any mistakes are excluded, since all files are labeled when you first download them from your account. The system just shapes the archive all over again, marking different files with five various protection labels containing your personal identification data. This data can be read exclusively with the help of software developed by the Pix Technologies s.r.o., and the results obtained are compared to your history of purchases, after which the system sends you a warning to the e-mail. If the license conditions are violated again, the account status changes to 'blocked' and you lose access to all the images you purchased.

PFD also reserves the right to block any accounts that we think appeared to substitute the account blocked.

If you would like to speed up the process of searching for PFD files being distributed illegally, you can send the archives and links you came across to the e-mail address panda@picsfordesign.com

How to avoid your account being blocked:

1) Do not pass access to your account to any third parties to prevent other people from downloading the files you purchased

2) Do not upload the files you purchased on file sharing websites or forums, making them available for downloading

3) Do not pass the files you purchased to any third parties in person or via the Internet.

Please respect our effort and all the hard work our artists put into their images, and we will be sure to make you happy by offering high level of service, convenient software that will facilitate your shopping and creative work, numerous and always exceptionally gorgeous pictures, prizes and plenty of other enjoyable stuff.

It ONLY concerns violation of PSP license. Please make sure you read the terms of license use and avoid violating it. With Panda or without, license use violation is punishable in any country no matter what the legislature is like.

You can keep working as you did before. Panda will just help you put an end to the obvious violations, and it is not going to complicate the lives of those observing the license use terms.

I did not notice the sales went down, it's actually quite the opposite… And now I can be sure my copyrights are secure. I thank PFD for finding such a great way of dealing with this pain I the neck.

As an artist, I can say the following: I am deeply shocked someone has the nerve to attack PFD for this module. So you KNOW you are violating the term of license and still think the store should shut its eyes to it??? And then you want us to draw pictures offering them for just 1.85… You may have treated it with more seriousness it more if you had to pay $500 for one.

Hello, friends.
I want to thank Allen and Eugene for the excellent work! Thank you very much!
Friends, please do not think that someone wants to offend you or violate your rights. Why do you - our friends, fans and lovers of tagging traffic, spend your money, do everything honestly, and someone gets it for free, because this man steal?
Sorry for my bad English. But I hope you understand.
A person who steals, may be a good person, but he does a bad deed. He takes money out of my pocket, out of pocket by other artists and teams who work with us.
A person who steals, has caused great damage to the tagging world. It's a bad thing. Artists do not get their money - one, the team does not get their money (shopping, stocks, which create scripts and make the advertising and so on) - two; you buy a psp tube for the money, but someone gets it for free. Your husband works long hours to earn money, you work long hours to earn money! And we are very grateful to you for that you spend your money on our tubes!!! And every picture you bought - a holiday for us! And your love - this is an incentive for us.
Thank you for this!
We love you! And please understand us! I am very happy that the fight against piracy continues and gains momentum. I always satisfied with the action, contests, participate in charity, I give my tubes for my friends for free, because I love you. And so do all the artists. The whole team.
Support us, please.
We want to work honestly! We want to work fun! We do not want to allow someone to steal, and the other person to pay for it!
Thank you for your understanding!
With love,
LadyMishka.

strange that you only seem to be allowing comments that support this silly thing. Has no-one learned anything from the whole GILD debacle ?

You want to turn people into snitches, isnt there enough nasty little minds in the PSP world ?

Don't understand what is the problem with protection and how it can prevents collecting. Right now all PSP companies prohibit tube sharing. We just have a software solution for this. So what is the difference?
If our customer use picture for PSP or just collect pictures or even give them to friends as taggs or just as .jpg it's ok. We don't prohibit this.
But if somebody share our characters at transparent background or in formats witch allow layers PSD, PNG and others we will block account of this person.

The protection idea is great, but it will lead to smaller sales... a lot of people do not use the stuff commercially but is collecting only. They will not buy anymore, if the stuff is protected. Neither I will... just my humble opinion, not statistically evaluated. Try it out and let us know the sales! Cheers Bert

Our hard drive will never get fried that way, as we have daily back-upping of the data and a few mirrors located in various data centers. All the data is securely protected and there is no way pictures are lost, so there is no reason to worry.
