**When passed to a third party, the character much be "glued" to the background.

PSP license offered by PFD provides for non-commercial use of pictures for PERSONAL purpose. PASSING the image to third parties in any way is prohibited. It applies to those making BLOG DESIGNS using PFD tubes and selling or gifting them to OTHER PEOPLE later. This is possible to do only in the following two cases:

1) The recipient of the design purchased that picture and you made the design, so they use the design indicating their license number with PFD.

2) You buy a picture under a different type of license - Royalty free. It's available at the store that offers pictures for commercial use costing $7 and allows using it unlimited number of times when making designs and selling or gifting them to third parties, without indicating copyright information on those designs. It's right here http://rfillustrations.com/. The only condition here is that the character must be "glued" to the background.

So, if YOU buy that tube and use it for YOUR blog, indicating YOUR license and other information, it's fine. If you purchase a tube and then someone else uses it for their blog and YOUR copyrights are there, that's not right. In this situation, there are two options

a) blog owner is the buyer of the tube and that blog owner's information is on the tube (you can ask a friend to design something for your blog with it, but two conditions above should be observed)

b) you buy $7 Royalty-Free license and can use that tube for making blog designs to any number of your friends, and you do not have to indicate any copyrights.

Gracias

If I am in a forum, and I give a label to a friend, without a commercial purpose, just to make a gift, I can use the tubes with my license for personal use but my friend's name?

Dear web designers (NOT FOR

Dear web designers (NOT FOR those makign TAGS for friends), we would like to open a new way for you to legally use our images with the purpose of passing them to other people for free or selling them. At the same time, the designs you create do NOT have to bear any copyright information.
If you make a design from the tubes purchased and intend to sell or gift it, you MUST have Royalty Free license for that tube. Images under those types of license will not be available at PicsForDesign anymore, so for that you will have to go to RFIllustrations.com.
Buying the Royalty Free license for $7, you are free to make any commercial or non-commercial website designs without indicating the copyright information. You can give those products to your friends or sell them to other people without having to pay anything else, their number not limited.
NB! Under no circumstances can you pass the original image (the character depicted) to a third party in the original format. You will be required to 'glue' the character to the background in your design.

You can also make website designs (it's not about tags and other things, just about websites!) for a friend if your friend has purchased that PSP tag from PicsForDesign and will be using his or her license on the design made, according to PicsForDesign Terms of Use.

DEAR EVERYONE! Before asking

DEAR EVERYONE! Before asking a question. PLEASE make sure the same question was not answered on any of the previous pages. Also, please make sure you READ the blog post carefully and check out the TABLE, which explains it all pretty well.
Let us remind you again that THIS IS NOT ABOUT PEOPLE MAKING TAGS. You are always welcome to make tags, tuts and banners, enter them into contests, display them in your communities and in our official group. You keep buying the PSP license as before and have NO REASON to worry about anything or change anything about what you do.
Everything is the same, we just wanted to make sure people involved into making designs for others are aware of the rules.
If you have some questions about a concrete product or aspect, or would liek to share your individual concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us by our e-mail support@picsfordesign.com.

Karen, displaying banners is in no way the same as making blog headers, it's sharing your skill with others. Those people will admire the banners and keep going, they will not be using them for their blog headers, so forums are perfectly safe. The purpose of this is to make DESIGNERS aware of the type of license they use. Taggers that make tags, banners and tuts, sharing them with friends and in communitieshave nothing to worry about.
