Big Summer Challenge on PicsForDesign (Final Results)

Summer Gifts

Get ready for summer that's gonna be incredibly hot and full of nicest gifts. This summer our PSP-store is planning to be there for you the full three months! PicsForDesign is announcing the beginning of the Big Summer Challenge. NEVER BEFORE have we given out prizes like that!

There will be three stages, each one 1 month long:

Stage-1:
Start date: 1.06.2012
End date and results: 27.06.2012
Result announcement and prizes: 30.06.2012

Stage-2:
Start date: 1.07.2012
End date and results: 28.07.2012
Result announcement and prizes: 31.07.2012

Stage-3:
Start date: 1.08.2012
End date and results: 28.08.2012
Result announcement and prizes: 31.08.2012

Here are the things you need to do:
1) buy tubes and kits
2) create beautiful tags
3) be active

Best banner maker	Making a banner of any size, any inscription in the spirit of the challenge. Send your entries to tags@ picsfordesign.com, the deadline is June 30^th end of the day. BANNERS	+	-	-	Every participant receives an exclusive picture as a gift.
Best PFD promoter	Posting active links leading to PicsForDesign main page on personal websites (blogs). Just post a banner with a link to PicsForDesign on your website. Then we will make a top-30 of promoters based on Google Analytics and will be giving prizes at the end of the month.	+	+	+	PFD-credits as a gift (you can buy anything PicsForDesign sells for them) 1. The absolute winner will receive 50 PFD credits as a gift 2. Top 2-5 winners – 5 credits each. 3. Top 6-10 winners –3 credits each. 4. Top 11-30 - 1 credit each.
Most creative tagger according to the tagging community	Upload your tags HERE every month, depending on the topic announced, and take part in the voting. We will be publishing the information on top winners at the end of every month. Topic for the first month: «Summer Drive». Turn on your imagination;) VOITING	+	+	-	Gift pictures 1. Top 3 winners - 5 pictures 2. Top4-10 winners– 2 pictureseach 3. Top 11-20 winners – 1 picture each + every participant gets an exclusive picture as a gift.
Most creative tagger	All tags uploaded will be judged by the artists and PFD management.	-	-	+	Gift pictures 1. Top 3 winners - 5 pictures + 5 PFD credits 2. Top 4-10 winners – 2 pictures + 2 PFD credits 3. Top 11-20 winners –1 picture + 1 PFD credit + every participant gets an exclusive picture as a gift.
PFD's VIP investor	We calculate the total number of contributions made by everyone over the period of three months.	-	-	+	Winner's idea realized in Prepaid Projects 1. The right to be the first to choose the artist to draw the picture 2. The right to be the second to choose the artist to draw the picture 3. The right to be the third to choose the artist to draw the picture * An artist can be chosen only once Top 10 investors will also receive the possibility to gift any of the completed prepaid projects 100 times.
Artist's Favorite	We will calculate which of our customers purchased the most works from a specific artist. For example, someone purchases 25 pictures by Rzhevskii in June, and no one else purchases more than 25 pictures in the same month. That customer receives a gift from Rzhevskii. In case the two or more taggers have the same number of pictures purchased from the same artist, the preference is given to the one with the most purchases during that month.	+	+	+	Top 3: 3 free pictures or kits from the artist (gift does not expire and is available until used).
PFD's VIP Customer	The absolute leader in the number of purchases made from PFD catalogue (tubes, kits, gifts count, prepaid project contributions do not count). It's also required to extend PFD Exclusive Club membership contentiously during the three summer months.	-	-	+	Exclusive prizes Top 3 winners – mouse pads with best pictures from PFD catalogue printed in excellent quality. Top 5 winners – A3 posters signed by the artist of your choice. Top 10 winners – vinyl sticker sets with PicsForDesign best illustrations

Prizes for artists and scrap kit designers:

It will be an automated process (when uploading tags, everyone will be entering the artist's login name).	+	+	-	Top-three winners will receive an increase in their royalties for one month: 1^st place – 15% 2^nd place – 10% 3rd place – 5% One of the masterpieces + the copyright of the absolute winner will appear on promo products gifted to VIP customers.
Best artist	Top-three sales over the period of three months, ONLY tubes uploaded from May 15^th to August 30^th will be taken into account. The calculation process is fully automated.	-	-	+	The absolute leader will receive 80% in royalties for one month. 2^nd and 3^rd place will receive a 10% increase in royalties.
Favorite scrap kit designer	We will determine, based on the results for every month, whose kits were used the most for making tags. It will be an automated process (when uploading tags, everyone will be entering the designer's login name).	+	+	-	Top-three winners will receive an increase in their royalties for one month: 1^st place – 15% 2^nd place – 10% 3rd place – 5% One of the masterpieces + the copyright of the absolute winner will appear on promo products gifted to VIP customers.
Best scrap kit designer	Top-three sales over the period of three months, ONLY kits uploaded from May 15^th to August 30^th will be taken into account. I did my theme like it says so i do care about themes

Well i uploaded my summer craze banner and tag

The topic is Summer craze, everyone can interpret it as they wish and it's up to other people (people like you) to decide which ones are worthy or being rewarded. This is why we have voting in place: you support the ones you like and think correspond to the theme and do not support the ones that in your opinion do not :)

Okay, apparently the theme is, "Ignore anything we say and just upload every tag you've ever made, regardless of what it's about." Am I the only one that cares? I'm guessing so, since the names of the tag designers who are doing this most often can be found on the list of last month's winners. I don't know why I bother trying to follow the rules...

Working on voting right now. Being more than a little frustrated that at least half the entries have absolutely nothing to do with the theme... I've seen ones for Valentine's Day, winter, Easter, spring, Earth Day, etc. How do any of those related to the summer themes we were given? They don't. So why are they in the voting - just to take up space? Very frustrating.
